Survive for as long as you can whilst under a barrage of asteroids. Collect items to replenish your health and ammunition. Customize a vessel to your liking, swapping parts to change your stats.
Move with the Arrow Keys or use W, A, S and D.
Press Space to use equipment.

Honestly this is incredible, I can see how this game can be fun, although not sure if it's the game, itch.io or my machine but the slowness of it, kinda makes it hard to get into it, when response is so lacking, but that could be not a problem you could really solve if it happens it's my machine, if you could maybe wrap it on electron or make a Windows build somehow any other way, maybe it could improve it, but man, it really strikes me when people use javascript+rendering engine, respect for that. And honestly the UI is alright to me, but if you have a better vision, go for it. Awesome game.

The slowness issue is something I've noticed when testing the game on other computers, and I think the main culprit is the many particles and/or visual effects. I'm planning on adding an option to disable these in the next update, but if that doesn't improve the performance than I may try the other methods you mentioned.
